Composing
My past experiences of composing mainly consists of timed essays. In high school I took AP Lang and we wrote many, many timed writings. The formats we did were persuasive and comparative analysis. My past writings have almost always included using sources to support my opinion. I hope that through this class I will be able to broaden my experiences and do more expressive writings. Also I want to feel more comfortable with writing. By the end of the semester I want to be able to apply my writing skills to my day to day life especially as I will need to create a resume soon.
Timed papers don't allow for so much expression. You'll have ample time to work on your projects so your writerly voice is bound to become less muted!
