People many times are intolerant to one another. And
intolerance is something that happens due to the differences among them. So, in
my opinion, when art becomes a social practice, it makes people interact with
one another. When it occurs, we engage in a learning process of the other, and
we can also understand our community in a better way, looking at it with an
open mind. Thus, intolerance is minimized and we might perhaps, be surprised
how the people next to you may share the same values, even though he or she
have a total different perspective of the world.
In other words, by passing our mugs, we will be
passing our experiences and our history. This will definitely contribute to the
development of our community. By adding our thoughts we may build a new way of
thinking. By adding new stories, we can inspire new stories.
