Renan's 2nd post

I have written several essays throughout my high school career. The essays I had to write ranged from poetry to persuasive analysis. It was actually a writing class in which you had a certain time to accomplish the given proposal. However all of these essays were all in Portuguese, and I don´t have the same amount of experience writing in English.
When I did my exchange program, I had to take AP English Literature. I confess that the class was very challenging. I had to read several books and perform better in each assignment. Besides that, since I arrived at Clemson I wrote some scientific based reports and learned how to search for good literature to enrich my work.
In this class, I hope to improve my writing skills up to a decent academic level.

  1. A very interesting background! This will certainly shape your writing in this class. Please also keep in mind that you should consider going to the Writing Center if ever you feel overwhelmed, and of course please contact me as well. The Writing Center helps lots students whose first language is not English. My friend from Indonesia goes there for all of the papers that she submits and I am told her tutors are super helpful and supportive.
